Aaina Mahal

The Aaina Mahal, also known as the Palace of Mirrors boasts an impressive collection of mirror works, including Venetian glass, marble, mirrors connected by scattered jewelry, and reflective lighting. The artwork features a combination of Indian and European designs and also showcases antique pictures, mechanical toys, and sculptures, making it a must-visit for art and history enthusiasts alike. The Aaina Mahal was built during the reign of Rao Lakhpatji, the ruler of Kutch, in the 18th century. It is said to have been constructed between 1750 and 1760. The palace was designed by Ram Singh Malam, who was an artist, scholar, and craftsman.

Vijay Villas Palace

This majestic palace was built in the Rajput style in 1929 by Rao Vijayrajji, and it is situated on the sea beach of Mandvi in Kutch. The exquisite stonework of the palace is built in an Indo-European style and was a summer retreat for the Maharajas of Kutch in the 1940s. The Vijay Vilas Palace was built in the early 20th century, specifically in the 1920s, during the reign of Maharao Shri Khengarji III of the princely state of Kutch. It was constructed as a summer retreat and royal residence for the Maharao and his family.

Lakhpat Fort

Lakhpat is a small town and sub-district in Kutch and is surrounded by 7km long 18th-century fort walls. The fort was built by Jamadar Fateh Muhammed and is a major tourist attraction. The giant 18th-century fort associates several tales and its uniqueness stands out in popularity. Lakhpat Fort is an impressive example of medieval Indian military architecture. The fort's massive walls and bastions are constructed from locally quarried yellow sandstone and clay bricks. The design includes high ramparts and imposing gates.
